House League

House League (for players born between 2013 to 2016)

Mississauga Ringette is pleased to announce that after a long hiatus (due to Covid), we are bringing back house league for FUN3 and U12 age players!

House league will consist of two (2) hours of ice per week:

• House league practices: Mondays 6:15pm at Burnhamthorpe Community Centre
• House league games: Fridays 7:15pm at Iceland rink 3

As with all things, additional practice increases skill at a faster rate. Ringette is no different. Historically, players who participated in house league in addition to their FUN3 or U12 team developed at a faster rate than their counterparts participating in FUN3 or U12 alone.  It is for that reason that we will again be making house league mandatory for all players on the FUN3 and U12A/B teams.

For the FUN3 team, there will be:

• 1 hour of shared ice practice per week,
• 10 home and 10 away games
• plus 2 hours of house league (expected to be 1 hour of skills and drills and 1 hour of games per week). 

This is an average of almost 4 hours of ice per week, all for $995!  This is a $1356 value if registered separately.

For the U12 team, there will be:

• 1 hour of shared ice practice per week (this is development ice, paid by the MRA),
• 1 hour full ice practice per week,
• 10 home and 10 away games
• plus 2 hours of house league (expected to be 1 hour of skills and drills and 1 hour of games per week). 

This is an average of almost 5 hours of ice per week, all for $1295!  This is a $1656 value if registered separately.

House league only:  This option is available to those players who are new to ringette

• $625 Early bird if register and pay in full by August 31
• $650 regular

MRA New Player Discount:

Any Fun 3 to U18 aged player who is new to ringette, will be eligible for a $100 rebate if they complete the entire season.
