On behalf of the MRA Executive, we would like to thank all the volunteers that helped with the best “Come Try Ringette” event to date.  Andrea Law and her team did a great job,  please read the following email sent out to the volunteers:

Subject: Re: Learn to Skate & Come Try Ringette Volunteers for Saturday Sept.21st THANK YOU!!!!!!

Good morning all Learn to Skate & Come Try Ringette Volunteers!

On behalf of the MRA- we cannot thank you enough for all your help this past Saturday! We are still waiting on final numbers - but I can tell you that there were at least over 40 new children on the ice, we signed up 11 equipment Rental Programs, which also means 11 signed up on the spot- and we know we had more sign up too that did not need to rent the equipment! Brenda & Amanda & their helpers were busy fitting equipment!

The on ice helpers did a fantastic job with the children- thank you Cara, Carole, Marc, Adrien & Laurie & all the U10, U14 & U16AA players who helped on the ice! You were amazing even when the Mississauga SNAP Newspaper came to take some photos!

Registrars were hopping! Thank you Abby & Alicia- we could not have done it without you- especially fielding questions all morning!

Craft / Game & Food Helpers: My goodness- the children had fun! Pizza was gone- and the feedback I got was that they loved the vibe- and it was great to see the older mustangs "from the U16AA & U14A team" engaged with the kids! Thank you to all the girls and Ann Marie too!

Lastly, I would like to thank Kyra , Ester & Eva- who put on an amazing CTR event representing the face of MRA at these Learn to Skate & Come Try Ringette days! They were involved in the entire planning months in advance as well as in all aspects of the day & played a key role in recruiting ! Thank you!

We have one more event planned for November 2nd & so we hope to see you all then!

Congratulations all!
