12th Annual Just Gotta Skate
Submitted By Sal Magnone on Tuesday, October 16, 2012
The Mississauga/Brampton Chapter of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of Canada (CCFC) is holding its 12th Annual Just Gotta Skate (JGS) event on Saturday, November 17th, 2012.

This year the event will be held from 11 AM to 1 PM at Rink #4 at the Iceland Arena in Mississauga. Just Gotta Skate is in memory of Donna Lee Zampieron, who was a Crohn’s disease sufferer and former skating coach with the City of Mississauga and skated professionally with Holiday on Ice.

Just Gotta Skate is a fun-filled family event including free skating for parents and children, optional pledge raising, a fabulous silent auction and entertainment for the whole family. The Silent Auction includes prizes donated by local businesses. Support Just Gotta Skate and do some early Christmas shopping at the Silent Auction! What better way to get your Christmas shopping started then to bid on one/many of our wonderful silent auction items!

The event is organized by an extremely dedicated committee of CCFC Mississauga/Brampton volunteers. Without their support and hard work this event would not be possible. We pride ourselves in having an expense free event! We get the ice paid for and ALL of the prizes are donated by supporters, never purchased. This way every dollar raised goes towards helping CCFC find a cure for Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
